feminism (n) : the belief that women should have equal rights and opportunities as men.

           'Feminism' the word leading to a lot of controversies now a days, and apart from the controversies, the most confused word. Over the years the actual meaning of the word is misinterpreted, as benefits of women losing it's original essence "equality". 

           Moving around with our lives, working, travelling, we come across many circumstances where in we feel the need of amendments even in small things on the course of equality. Coming across a lot of things as we a have lot of social exposure being the 'z' generation, there's a newer term dwelling as 'pseudo feminism' it cannot be defined in anyway as it is compromised every now and then as per the benefits of a women are concerned, without considering the consequences. Screaming, taking everything on social media with slamming people without basis, these things aren't feminist. 

           The word will have it's real gist when we really understand equality, as in if we want equal payment as men we also need no reservations only then there will come the word equal opportunities. If we believe we are stronger and as good as a man what's the need of reservations in public transportation, if we don't want people to judge us, why do we judge men as pervs and generalise them. Feminism lies in empowerment of women, supporting a fellow human being irrespective of gender. It never is about dominance of women over men, or hating men, or finding flaws in men's ways of doing things just for the sake of proving that women are always right. 

           It's the time that rather than feminism and menisim we need to come with a new concept of "humanism". Being a house maker, or helping fellow male, or standing against a female who has done something not acceptable in any way doesn't make you less of a feminist. We need to learn the idea of " live and let live" in peace. Afterall that's how system functions. There lies the zest of being a human, a women, in spreading sissiness, love , peace, righteousness, raising your voice for the unethical. Afterall women are important and men too; we matter so as all other lives matter too!
