I Can't Breathe.....🖤!

Racism(n): the belief that some races of people are better than others; unfair ways of treating people of different races.
             
                 When the colour of your skin is seen as a weapon, you never will be seen as  unarmed! It all started in 2013 with #BlackLivesMatter after the acquittal of George Zimmerman in shooting death of an African-American teen Trayvon Martin, in February 2012; followed by two deaths of African-Americans by police actions and/or while in police custody. 
               #BlackLivesMatter flared up the news headlines internationally during George Floyd's protests 2020. Floyd's death by police officer Derek Chauvin in Minneapolis, Minnesota. We have been reading these stuffs on one or the other platforms; but have we really given it even a spec of a thought. It's true change is needed, and it's needed as soon as possible, but are we forgetting    "Be the change you wish to see in the world". All the protests going around the world amid Covid-19; violating all the social distancing norms, risking lives in a way; is it that important than our lives?
               Answer to this is simple,"Until the colour of your skin is the target you will never understand"- Angela Davis.Thinking about this in a little of an introspective way; what's your first thought when you see a dusky or dark-skinned person? Why using words like "nigga" in memes seem so cool and trendy? Why do we have to address people based on there skin complexion? There's always a beautiful way of calling out things! Why aren't ethics in trend over fraudulence? Why is cheating over someone some called of "swag" and one that stays loyal is still some clichè? Oh God! There's definitely something wrong with us...Help yourself with the answers of all the above questions. 
                Just imagine not having  opportunities, privileges just because of your skin colour which no one can change, no one chose by themselves and is beautiful in it's own way! The world is just a mass of some geological stuffs but it's made into system by it's people, by us. Surely if the world needs a change it implies we people primarily need the change.....!!! Discrimination feels as wings being clipped when they wanted to expand the horizon.
                  It's true all lives matter but c'mon it's our fellow mates who need attention at this point. Start from ourselves, change your perception, address people ethically, "Excuse me, gentleman/ma'am"; sounds beautiful in whatever language you say it. It's a high time we brace humanity, we always need a human for a human...... Love over hate and discrimination is the answer. Understand you are beautiful so are others.
    
       Can we breathe now? We all bleed same colour.......🖤
